St Michael's Hospice is holding a second concert in memory of its former chairman Derek Norcross.
The event is taking place on September 11 at St John's Church in Pevensey Road.
Last September choirs from across Hastings came together to sing in celebration of the hard work, creative spirit and uplifting presence of Derek during his tenure at St Michael's Hospice from 1998 to January 2006.
The inaugural concert was a sell-out with not one spare seat left in the church.
This year the concert will include performances from St Paul's School Choir and will spotlight students from Pestalozzi International Village who will demonstrate both Hindu dance and traditional music from Tibet.
Alongside them will be a host of local musicians reflecting Derek's love of all things musical.
Derek, a former deputy lord lieutenant of East Sussex, died aged 76 in a road accident two years ago.
He became an East Sussex county councillor in 1993, serving as vice-chairman of the council in 1994 and chairman from 1996 to 1998.
He was involved in the renovation of Bexhill's De La Warr pavilion as a member of its board of trustees, he played an active role in the Tom Paine Association as well as participating in the National Trust, the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, innumerable charities, voluntary organisations and local groups.
He was awarded an honorary MA from Sussex University, appointed deputy lord lieutenant of East Sussex and received an OBE in 2005.
Derek was given the Order of 1066 honour in 2004.
Tickets for the concert are just £10 each, tickets including admission to a preceding reception are just £20 each.
