POLICE have arrested the husband of missing make-up artist Diane Chenery-Wickens, after a decomposing body was found yesterday (Thursday).
David Chenery-Wickens, 51, from Duddleswell, had previously been arrested on suspicion of murder and was due to return for further questioning at the end of the month.

Police have not formally identified the body as Mrs Chenery-Wickens but are investigating the possibility it is her.

The body was found by a dog walker in Worth Lane at Little Horsted, south of Uckfield, at around 10am.

Police said the body was 'heavily decomposed'.

Investigators have also appealed for witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to call 0845 60 70 999.
