Husband of missing make-up artist charged with murder

POLICE have charged the husband of missing make-up artist Diane Chenery-Wickens with her murder.
David Chenery-Wickens, 51, from Duddleswell, was due to appear at Hastings Magistrates Court today (Saturday.

Mrs Chenery-Wickens' body was found by a dog walker in Worth Lane at Little Horsted, south of Uckfield, at around 10am on Thursday.

Police said the body was 'heavily decomposed'.

A forensic expert confirmed, with the use of dental records, last night that the body was Mrs Chenery-Wickens .

The cause of death has yet to be established.

Mrs Chenery-Wickens' family has been informed.

She had been missing from her home in Duddleswell since January.
