TWO youths have been arrested following an alleged robbery of a boy in Lewes.
The 14-year-old was walking over the bridge between Lewes College and the Railway Land at around 3.30pm on April 25 when he was approached by a group of boys.

One threatened him with violence unless he handed over his iPod music player.

A second boy also threatened him with violence and the victim was left frightened and distressed.

A police investigation linked the incident with a similar offence in Peacehaven on April 28.

Two boys, aged 12 and 13, were threatened in the same way and a mobile phone stolen stolen.

This incident also happened at around 3.30pm outside Peacehaven Community School.

Two days later two boys from Brighton, aged 16 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Both have been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery, and have been remanded in custody pending a court appearance.
