Both Bexhill and Sidley tasted defeat in Division Two.
Bexhill lost by 13 runs at the hands of Stirlands whose total of 204-9 declared proved agonisingly out of reach despite a superb knock of 115 by Zimbabwean Craig Ervine.

Jonathan Haffenden (4-67) and Ian Ellis (3-69) were the most successful visiting bowlers for the visitors.

Sidley put up a good fight away to leaders Littlehampton but ultimately were beaten by five wickets.

Tyrone Wildman (86) and Manjot Singh (74) top-scored in Sidley's total of 241-8 declared, but Ben Challen was the star of the show with a match-winning 128 not out. Littlehampton were also well deserved by Danny Rive who hit an undefeated 64.
