MEMBERS who attended our April meeting had a real treat. Our demonstrator was John Shave who gave us an impressionist treatment of ships on the Thames estuary in oils. It was a real joy to watch and I am sure we all learnt a lot.
Many of us who had not touched our oil paints for quite a long time went home determined to get them out again.

Artist of the month was Eunice Lown and the monthly competition, very well supported as usual, was "Spring Fever". This was won by Stella Harris.

The May meeting will be on May 3, and will be given by Andrea De La Roche on the Law of Colour.

If you have enquiries please contact Chris Maclean. Tel. 844981.
