THE Association is enjoying an active summer with various Association activities. Since its Spring Coffee Morning held last May at Little Common which usually marks the start of its summer programme members have had a six-day holiday to East Anglia centred at Norwich. Visits were arranged to Ickworth House, Felbrigg Hall, Cromer, Sandringham, Norwich Cathedral, Blickling Hall Gardens and Park.
The return journey was made via the Broads and Sutton Hoo.

The holiday was followed soon after by an outing to Hall Place and Danson House and a very pleasant coffee morning in a member's garden at the start of July and a further outing a fortnight later to Walmer Castle and Deal.

A summer lunch is scheduled for the middle of August at Barnsgate Manor Vineyard with a post-lunch visit to Sheffield Park Gardens. Then a further outing is planned for early September to Alfriston and Firle Place.

The busy summer programme gives way to the autumn programme of lecture meetings starting on Saturday, October 11 and the start of the new membership year. If you are interested in joining our Association, assuming you are a member of the National Trust, please call our membership secretary Sonia Vincett on 844843.
