A GUIDED tour of the "mother of Parliaments" was a highlight of a visit to London for 52 members of the society.
Last Tuesday's visit to the Palace of Westminster also included the brief opportunity of a photo-call with town MP Gregory Barker, who had been engaged in a meeting during the visit.

The group were divided into three parties, each with their own highly informative guide.

Last Tuesday's trip organised by society chairman Dick Lancaster also included a visit to the Tutankhamoun exhibition, though, sadly, the boy pharaoh's coffin was not on view that day.
