ON April 9, the Ruby Anniversary of the CSRF, we celebrated with a lunch at Lamberhurst Vineyard. For those unable to be present with us on that occasion, we would be delighted to see you at our next Coffee Morning on the 22nd when we will have a special celebration cake.
Last month we enjoyed a mystery trip which included a coffee stop at Hadlow Agricultural College followed by a delicious lunch in Yalding. Afterwards we made our way home through the highways and byways of Kent and East Sussex. All in all an excellent day.

At our March coffee morning John Dowling gave a very interesting talk on the League of Friends of the Bexhill Hospital. It was amazing to hear how much things cost in the 1930s compared with the present day and to learn how the hospital developed in those early days.

There are plenty more outings planned for the months ahead so if you are a retired civil servant, please do come along to any of our coffee mornings to see what we have on offer: 10am on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except December) at the Bexhill Sailing Club.
