Sidley Community Primary School would like to say a great big thank you to Bexhill Rotary Club for funding this year's Kids Day Out to Knockhatch Adventure Park.
Twenty-four excited children ranging from Reception all the way up to Year 6 boarded the coach along with teacher Steve Roper; teaching assistants Heather Knoll, Mandy Cooper and Marion Penfold; parent helper Sarah Winchester and Geoff Longmire from the Rotary Club.
A fun-packed day of slides, trampolines, adventure playgrounds, animal displays and even a row around the lakes (adult helpers providing the oar power of course) ensured that the children came back tired but happy, with lots of great memories.

The Rotary Club provided each child with a disposable camera so that they could capture the day from their own viewpoint and a refreshing ice-lolly, also courtesy of the Rotary Club, was very welcome after lunch.

This is the third year that the Rotary Club have funded this great event and we hope that it will continue to benefit the children in our school who might otherwise have missed out on these experiences into the foreseeable future.
