Books on Offa

AMAZING facts and adventurous fiction, new titles and old favourites - who doesn’t love reading books?

The benefits are obvious as the children of King Offa primary school no doubt agree.

They’ve been enjoying their week long book fair which was a chance to look through and buy books but also raise valuable funds for the running of the school.

The book fair was organised by teacher Catherine Nolan and year six pupils helped her run it by manning the shelves and helping to sell the wide range available.

The annual event usually raises some £300 for school needs while encouraging children in their reading.
