CARPENTER Craig Peters and his girlfriend Corinne George had special reason to celebrate Christmas Day this year, for at 11.34am at the Conquest Hospital, Hastings, Corinne gave birth to their son, Oscar Finley Peters.

Weighing in at 8lbs 15oz, Oscar was the first of several babies to be born at the Conquest on December 25 and proud dad, Craig, 26, said: “Being Christmas Day he had his own special manger.

“The staff at the hospital were brilliant and Oscar is now living the dream, sleeping well although he did have us up twice on Boxing Day night for feeds.”

Craig and Corinne, 24, a care assistant, live in Albany Road, Bexhill.

Craig also has a son, Ryan, aged four, from a previous relationship.
