Growers boost Bexhill hospital
MEMBERS of Bexhill Horticultural Society recently presented £1,183.60 to the Bexhill Hospital League of Friends following successful fund-raising efforts throughout 2011.
A BHS spokesman said: “Many thanks are given to all those whose support enabled us to raise this donation at various events and meetings during the year.
“For 2012 we are fundraising to support our chosen charity for this year - Admiral Nursing Direct - an organisation which suppplies help and nurses to improve the quality of life for dementia sufferers and their carers.”
The society’s spring flower show will be held on Saturday, March 31, from 2pm to 4.30pm, at Pebsham Community Centre, Seabourne Road. For membership enquiries, please telephone Robin Reilly on 01424 210770.
