Each week The Park Lane Group will select a charity to benefit from a share of the £5,000 they are giving away over the next eight weeks.

If you, or someone you know, has a special need for a piece of equipment, help with travel, or if you belong to a charity who needs funds, you can apply. Donations between £50 and £500 will be made to causes selected by the panel from The Park Lane Group. Each week at least one application will be selected.

To enter all you need do is to write and tell The Park Lane Group why you want a slice of this amazing giveaway. If successful you will be contacted by The Park Lane Group to say that you have been chosen. They will then set up a photo opportunity with the Observer to record the money - or goods in kind - being passed over to you or your organisation. Remember that your request can be for absolutely anything just so long as it will be for a good purpose or will help someone.

This is an amazing opportunity to swell your funds for that summer outing, urgently needed equipment, repairs, sports kit, just about anything that you or your group need. Send your entries to: Amazing Park Lane Giveaway, Observer, Woods House, Telford Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, TN38 9LZ.  Write in no more than 100 words why you would like a share of this amazing giveaway and include the name of the person, group etc that you are applying on behalf of, a contact name and address and a daytime telephone number.

The decision of the promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
All monies or gifts in kind will be distributed by September 30, 2008.
