Death of teacher

A WELL-known infant school teacher and the wife of an Eastbourne doctor has died of breast cancer aged 55.

Sue Stockton moved to Eastbourne with her husband, Dr Martyn Stockton, 31 years ago. She taught at Shinewater Primary School, Roselands Infant School, Haven CE Methodist Primary School, Bourne County Primary School and St Bede's School.
She died peacefully at home on July 12, after a three-year battle with breast cancer and is survived by her three children, Kate, Matthew and Natalie, and two grandchildren, Toby and Ettienne.
All are welcome to the funeral at Christ Church in Seaside next Friday (July 25) at 11.30am. The cremation will be attended by family only.
