THE TRANSITION between junior and senior schools was smoothed by a leaflet called It's Your Move.
Pupils across Eastbourne, Pevensey and Seaford were given the leaflet thanks to the generous donation of a local church.

Erik Cornelisse, of Encounter Schoolswork, spoke to youngsters about the fears of moving up during assemblies, reflecting on what year six students would leave behind as a legacy to their primary schools.

It's Your Move, published by Scripture Union, is full of practical advice, games, puzzles and real-life stories to give young people confidence as they move to secondary school.

"This is a really useful resource with many key points relating to issues surrounding the move to secondary school, written in a child friendly way," said Wendy Bray, head of the Haven School.
