Pedestrian hit by car

A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to Eastbourne DGH with serious injuries following a collision with a car in Hazelwood Avenue, Hampden Park.

The crash occurred at around 3.20pm on Thursday (August 28) and police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene.
The young male pedestrian was taken to Eastbourne DGH.
Police closed part of the road and officers remained at the scene until early evening.
