Shinewater Fun Day is cancelled

SHINEWATER Fun day has been cancelled due to poor weather.
Organisers of the event, due to take place in Shinewater park tomorrow (September 6) from 12 noon to 5pm, apologised for cancelling it but said the rain made a day of live music, tug of war and skateboard demonstrations unworkable.
They plan to hold a small fundraiser to make up for the £400 already spent on the fun day.
