POLICE are trying to trace a man they believe assaulted a woman in Eastbourne on July 27.

A 20-year-old local woman was walking down Cambridge Road, between the seafront and Seaside at around 3.15am when she was assaulted.
This CD-fit of a man has been issued by police.
He is described as being aged around 30, of medium build and between 5ft 9ins and 6ft tall.
Police ask anyone who may have seen him on the day to call Gemma Kingston at Eastbourne CID on 0845 60 70 999. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be called free and anonymously on 0800 555 111.
