Rye United Football Club appears to have pulled off another big signing in the form of Danny Ellis.
The talented former Hastings United wide player picked up a signing on form at training on Tuesday evening.

Ellis, who is friends with Rye players Dominic Cruttenden and Jani Seitsonen, has apparently had enough at Crowborough Athletic.

"It's a massive signing and I'm happy with the squad now," said United manager Scott Price, who also brought in experienced defender Nathan Godden a couple of weeks ago.

Cruttenden, however, is expected to be out for some time after damaging ankle ligaments during the 2-1 win at Wealden in Division Two of the Sussex County League last weekend.
