HASTINGS United crashed to a hugely disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Harrow Borough.
The U's looked completely out of sorts as they succumbed to previously winless opposition in a poor Ryman Premier encounter.
Borough took the lead after only six minutes courtesy of Jonathan Constant's penalty which squirmed through the hands and legs of goalkeeper Greg Nessling.
Constant, who had been brought down for the spot-kick by a rash challenge from Hastings skipper Rhys Whyborne, should have added a second with a close range header.
Hastings seemed devoid of confidence as they struggled to create anything of note and it wasn't until just before half time that Sam Adams flashed an effort over the crossbar.
The home side improved in the second half but were undone by a breakaway goal from Kai Williams on 62 minutes.
Hastings went on to enjoy their best spell with efforts from Adams, Matt Maclean and Scott Ramsay, but it was nowhere near enough to prevent them from sinking to a fifth defeat in six matches.
