Hastings Priory Cricket Club made a valiant exit from the ECB National Club Championship on Sunday.
Jason Finch's side lost its group 16 final away to a formidable Bromley outfit which tops the Kent Premier League by just 21 runs.

Bromley scored 260-8 from their 45 overs having lost the toss and been put into bat, ex-Surrey batsman Nadeem Shahid hitting 86 at the top of the order.

Finch took 3-18 and John Morgan 2-42, while George Campbell, Mick Glazier and James Beeny picked up a wicket each.

Priory, who had previously knocked out Lordswood, Bexley and Hainault & Clayhall, were all out for 239 in reply.

Morgan top-scored with 65 at number 10, Finch struck 49 at number four, James Chaplin made 37 at number nine and Beeny 31 at the top of the order.

Bromley have been drawn away to Cambridge Granta in the last 16 of a competition which concludes with a final at the home to Derbyshire County Cricket Club.
