Rye United moved up to fourth in Division Two of the Sussex County Football League on Saturday.
The Quarterboys won 2-0 at home to Storrington thanks to goals in the last 25 minutes from Duncan McArthur and Sam Cole, the latter with a delightful dinked finish.

Elsewhere, Little Common conceded an added time equaliser to draw 2-2 at Clymping.
Jared Lusted and Lewis Hole, with his 18th of the season, had twice put Common ahead.

Westfield lost 3-1 at home to East Preston despite Warren Parsons' 14th goal of the season putting them ahead, while Sidley United's match away to Littlehampton Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Division Three leaders Bexhill United drew 1-1 away to Dorking Wanderers after taking an early lead through Dave Carey's third goal in as many matches.

Full reports on each of these games will appear in Friday's Observers.
