An exciting day lies in prospect tomorrow with the penultimate round of matches in the East Sussex Cricket League.
It's all to play for in Division One because Iden are currently two points clear of defending champions Crowhurst Park.
Iden are at home to second-bottom Fletching tomorrow, while Park are away to fifth-placed Rottingdean.
David White's Iden side hit the front last weekend on the back of a four-wicket victory away to Park.
Park were bowled out for 135 having been asked to bat first with Stuart Playford taking 3-17 off 15 overs and Mark Kitching 2-16 from 14. Victor Walcott top-scored with 34.
Iden slumped to 39-4 in reply before Chris Curd (44 not out) and Phil Bourn (25) pieced together a stand of 73 to see them home fairly comfortably. Richard Coleman claimed 4-24 off 12.
On the final day of the campaign next Saturday, Iden go to third-placed Ringmer and Park host rock-bottom Tunbridge Wells Borderers.
At the opposite end of the table, third-bottom Rye travel to Willingdon tomorrow probably needing to win one of their last two games to stay up.
Third-placed Battle will be going all out for victory at home to second-bottom neighbours Robertsbridge in their quest for promotion from Division Two.
An in-form Pett side will continue its pursuit of the Division Three title at home to Crowborough. All matches start at 1pm.
