Help out at Wolsonbury Hill
Published Date:
21 November 2008
DO you have a few hours to spare this Saturday?
Relieve the stress of work and join the Friends of Wolstonbury Hill on the famous hill near Hurstpierpoint where they will be clearing overgrown scrubland.
All are welcome. The friends meet at The Plough Inn, Pyecombe at 10 am and usually finish by about 3 pm.
Free tea and coffee are provided and if you call Ian Pack on 07710 814665 today (November 21) he will make sure you have a jacket potato cooked on a bonfire.
Bring your family and friends but do make sure that you have footwear suitable for wet muddy ground, warm and water/wind proof clothing and something to eat and drink.
The Friends provide the tools. See their website: www.wolstonbury.com for more information.
