GROUPS of Bexhill High students have been given a tour of the new 34million school site in Gunters Lane.
The visit gave pupils an insight into the look and design of the building, and a feel for how it will operate alongside the longer school day.

Students were shown around with a site worker and a member of staff and went inside one of the many pods.

They were amazed by the large amount of space on offer, as well as the vast natural light available through the many windows.

Each end of the new school includes specialist facilities for technology, science, expressive arts and PE. There is a large all-weather floodlit pitch for outdoor sports, and there is a large dance studio linked to a 300-seat theatre with soundproofing and retractable seating.

There is a cafe/restaurant area in the central heart space, which is the massive focal point for the school.
To ensure students are adequately catered for during the day there is a caf/ restaurant area in the massive focal point for the school.
