CAR owners can park at Herbrand Walk between 8am and 9pm seven days a week from today (Tuesday June 2), but if they park outside of those hours, the vehicle will be clamped and towed away.
Sussex Police say owner Steve Hall is putting up new signs, and they will be concreted in.

Inspector James Scott said: "Both the police and Rother District Council have been working very closely with Mr Hall to ensure the use and amenities at Herbrand Walk beach are available for the public to enjoy.

"Mr Hall wishes to stress that the beach is not just for jetski users but for all watersports such as windsurfing, kayaking, fishing, sailing and kite flying."

Herbrand Walk is privately owned, the nearest public beach is Cooden Beach.
