A TERRIFIED driver was forced to flee from his car after being threatened in a road rage incident in De La Warr Road, Bexhill, on Thursday morning.
Police are asking for anyone who saw what happened to call 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 318 of 25/02.

A Daihatsu Four Trak off-roader and a white, high-top, long-wheelbase Ford Transit-style van almost collided in the busy road at about 9am.
When the Daihatsu driver then stopped in a queue of traffic, a passenger in the van got out and approached him, damaging a window and raising his fist.

Fearing assault, the driver jumped into the passenger seat while the man from the van grabbed his car keys and began moving round to the vehicle's nearside.

Police said: "In sheer panic the victim jumped out of the half-open window and ran across the road. He was unhurt but shaken up by the incident."

Both the driver and van passenger are aged in their 40s.
