A NEW business opened in Bexhill on Saturday that's sure to be a hit with both ladies and gents.
The Retreat hair salon in St Leonards Road is the idea of owner Emma Hollamby, who despite being only twenty three years old, has a head for business and the expertise needed in the competitive world of hairdressing.

With seven years experience as a hairdresser, Emma, who also teaches hairdressing at Hastings college, said she had built up a large client base from her previous hairdressing job in Bexhill and, felt it was the ideal location for her business venture.

She also has a team of expert stylists, including Sarah Bungay, who will offer clients a friendly, professional service.

Along with the usual range of cutting and colouring services, the Retreat also offer human hair extensions which Emma said are very popular at the moment.

To celebrate the opening Emma held a party at the salon for clients, friends and local businesses, during which she held a grand raffle in order to raise funds for SCOPE.
