A BEXHILL school principal has been invited to a Royal garden party in the grounds of Buckingham Palace for the second time.
David Cassar, of St Mary's special needs school in Wrestwood Road, was invited on the first occasion in recognition of his services to education.
This year's invitation comes in recognition of his "valuable contribution to the community."
Mr Cassar was offered a choice of three dates in July by the honours team at the Department For Children, Schools and Families.
He says he is deeply honoured to have received a second invitation but has declined as he had previously been to a garden party at the palace.
