Study group to hear how German Legion was organised

MEMBERS of Bexhill Hanoverian Study Group will receive a talk on the organisational structure of the King's German Legion at their meeting at St Peter's Community Centre on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
The speaker is Roderick McArthur, who retired in 1992 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after a 30-year Army career. He is a member of the Society of Army Historical Research and the Research Group of the Napoleonic Association. Hanoverian troops of the King's German Legion were in barracks at Bexhill in the decade preceding their part in the Battle of Waterloo.
