A teddy bears' picnic was held for children soon to join Pebsham Community Primary School.
Starting next term are 30 boys and girls who will be the new reception class. They went into their room and met teacher Carla Payne with teaching assistant Paula Ward, bringing their favourite teddy or soft toy to take part in a picnic with special cakes.

While they enjoyed themselves for an hour, parents had the chance to meet with deputy head teacher Fran Naylor and chair of governors Jeremy Betts, to be given information about the school and receive Welcome Packs with all they need to know for when their little ones start in September.
