A DEDICATED and inspirational Bexhill teenager has raised over £400 for Children in Need.
Kieran Lahee, 14, whom his dad Philip describes as being "very charity minded", raised the money in two separate ventures.

On Friday the Bexhill High student stood at the entrance to Sainsbury's and entertained shoppers. Dressed fetchingly in a nurses outfit, Kieran literally blew his own trumpet for over three hours, netting £193.20.

On Saturday, Kieran took to the road. Starting at the De La Warr Pavilion he rode his bike along the coast to Hastings, and back, a total of four times, raising a further £225.62.

Kieran, who spends Saturday mornings working at Barby Keels animal sanctuary, looking after pigs, geese, chicken and guinea pigs, was delighted to have raised so much money single-handedly.

He said: "I'm very happy to have raised all that money on my own and would like to say a big thank you to Sainsbury's, their customers, the De La Warr Pavilion, the Sussex Brass Band and everyone at Bexhill High for their support."
