Drivers are being urged to lock up their cars following a spate of break-ins last weekend.
Six vehicles were broken into across town on the night of Friday February 19 and early hours of Saturday February 20.

The cars were parked variously on the seafront, on Galley Hill, in Rotherfield Avenue, and Hastings Road.

All of them had stereos or sound system equipment stolen.
Sussex Police believe that these cars may have been left open and are making a plea for owners to make sure they remember to lock up properly.

Any witnesses who have information about the thefts are asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999.
