Bexhill firefighters rescue man from scaffolding

Firefighters have rescued an injured man from scaffolding in Bexhill.

Crews were called to the scene in St Leonards Road just after 3.50pm today (Thursday, March 10).

They were called by South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics, who were struggling to reach the man.

The nature and severity of the man’s injuries are not known at this time.

The road has been closed from Devonshire Road to Sea Road.
