Baby show aims to raise funds for baby unit at DGH

A BABY Show is being held in Eastbourne this month.

It is being held to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at the District General Hospital and a local bereaved parents support group.

Parents, carers and grandparents who visit the Eastbourne Baby Show at the Kings Centre can book baby swimming lessons, purchase nursery equipment, speak to local experts and charities.

These will include the NHS dietician service and Homestart - and even plan childcare arrangements for returning to work.

The event will also include demonstrations on how to keep a baby scrapbook.

Other demonstrations from various exhibitors will be held on the day and there will also be a raffle with prizes

The show is the first of its kind in Eastbourne and is supported by ABC magazine and The Family Grapevine magazine.

It will offer parent the opportunity to access a variety of experts all under the one roof.

Admission to the baby show will free, with goody bags handed out to the first 200 visitors.

The event takes place on Saturday, September 11, from 10am until 4pm.

For more details on the show visit www.eastbournebabyshow.co.uk or call Keely on 732401 or 07766 864126.
