Bexhill to suffer two Post Office losses
COLLINGTON sub-post office is scheduled for closure in addition to that at London Road under Post Office cuts announced this morning.
London Road sub-postmaster Ismet Khoyratee revealed in the October 19 Observer that he had been told ahead of the formal public consultant that his business would close in February.
In all, 49 post offices are threatened with closure across Sussex.
Town MP Gregory Barker is currently conducting a campaign opposing the cuts.
The Post Office says it aimed to reduce losses put nationally at 4m a week by axing 2,500 branches.
