Burglars strike at King Offa Way garage

POLICE investigating a burglary at a Bexhill garage are appealing for information.

At around 1am on Sunday January 20, officers were called out to Kwik Fit in King Offa Way due to the alarm at the premises sounding.

Police discovered entry had been gained into the garage through a window and a small amount of cash and a mobile phone were stolen.

PC Anthony Clarke of East Sussex Response Investigation Team said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident or anyone who saw a vehicle leaving the area.”

Anyone with information which may assist police with enquiries is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 0084 of 20/1 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
