Burns Night Lttle Common Royal British Legion Club

TRADITIONAL Burn's Night Celebrations were enjoyed by over a hundred members of the Little Common Royal British Legion Club.

The festivities kicked off with a traditional supper and saw the club's new chef Stephen Adams bring in the Haggis to the sound of bagpipes played by local piper Fred Laing.

The 'beast' was then duly addressed in the words of Robbie Burns by Martin McComiskey.

Following the traditional Scottish supper, members were entertained by Shane Hampshire with his musical tribute to the Rat Pack.

Chairman of the LCRBL Glyn Edwards said the evening had been a great success:

"It was a great night and we are looking forward to many other such fantastic nights at the club – we have a really good line-up for the forthcoming year."
