Drugs probe follows tip-off

TWO men have been bailed until next Wednesday, February 20 while Sussex Police investigate alleged drugs offences in the Bexhill area.

On Tuesday, January 22 officers received information about a possible drugs deal involving an amount of cannabis. Later that evening, a 34-year-old man from Bexhill was stopped in his vehicle on the A269 Bexhill Road at Ninfield.

Following a search of the vehicle he was arrested for possession of a controlled drug with the intention of supply.

Further information then led to the search of a property in Skinners Lane, Catsfield where 30 cannabis plants and cultivation equipment was seized and a 44-year-old man from Catsfield was arrested.
