FIrefighters in river rescue
FIRE crews were involved in a river rescue.
They were called to the River Adur near Betley Bridge Henfield at 9.20 am and spent nearly two hours at the scene.
On arrival they found a cow in the river which they released using rescue lines and a portable winch.
Crews from Henfield, Partridge Green and Storrington went to the rescue, which happened yesterday (tuesday) morning.
