Handcross hairdresser Rachel says thanks for support
SENIOR stylist at Goldilocks Hair and Beauty Handcross, Rachel Fisk would like to thank all those who helped her raise £1,500 for Cancer Research UK.
Rachel raised the money by shaving her hair off earlier this month at a garden party held at the salon.
Rachel comments: "Cancer has affected many people close to me and left me feeling quite helpless; I wanted to show my support in some way.
"I have an extreme obsession with my hair and someone suggested shaving it would be the ultimate sacrifice and that they would sponsor me to do it.
"I was very nervous on the night, and now I have had to be careful in the sun as my head easily burns! But it has been worth it!"
