Love music? Hate racism? Then head down to the Pig in Paradise
Preview: Love Music Hate Racism Hastings, Pig in Paradise, White Rock, December 11, 7pm.
Live music lovers and anti-racists will be gathering for an evening on bands and dancing at the Pig in Paradise - just yards from the spot where foreign language student Mohammed al-Majed was tragically killed.
The event is the next in series of Love Music Hate Racism gigs organized across the town, which bring together local bands, music lovers, cultural groups and anti-racists in a celebration of multiculturalism, diversity, and music.
The line up of Woodface, Dusky Rosko, Katdog and To The Moon Alice promise everything from ambient to rock - with something for everyone.
Organizers hope to build on the success of previous events while local organizer Chris says: "Hastings is a fantastic diverse town with something for everybody to enjoy, the forces of hate and division don't want that to be the case, so we are proud to bring you our next anti racist musical gathering.
"It is music which brings us together, and together we are stronger so Love Music Hate Racism."
Doors open at 7pm with bands and music from 7.30pm until 1am. Entry is 2.
