Party time for children

ANY children up for party fun were invited to St Barnabas Church in Sea Road on Saturday.
A special party held for children in Bexhill was organised by enthusiastic volunteer David Devenport Hill who then spent the morning making sandwiches.
Mum Karen Miles was there with her two children and said: “It was a good party in the sense it brought different children together and people were able to see what the church had to offer.
“There were 30-40 people there and it was really nice, people could just bring their children along. Not many churches reach out in that way.
“It was a party for children to have fun but also a way for people to get involved. It was really lovely.”
