Police appeal for burglary witnesses

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a flat was burgled in Cavendish Place on Friday evening (September 3).

The intruder broke in through a sash window from a first-floor balcony.

It is believed the suspect may have scaled scaffolding at the other end of the terrace of flats and made their way along the balconies to the victim's flat between 6.30pm and 9.15pm on August 27.

A PlayStation console and 15 games were stolen from the flat.

Anyone who witnessed the burglary should contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1725 of August 27.
