Search for local stalls for Bexhill’s farmers’ market
LOCAL producers can apply for a stall at Bexhill’s new Farmers’ Market but must come from within a 30 mile radius.
The organisers are ready to sign up local farmers, fishers, growers, bakers and makers who will provide the highest quality and freshness. The market in Devonshire Square will have up to 20 stalls selling a wide range of products which will change through the year to celebrate seasonality.
Bexhill Farmers’ Market Steering Group has been working on the project for the past year and had a boost when the newly formed Bexhill Town Team secured funding to supply the town with necessary equipment. The Steering Group thanks Christopher Strangeways, of Bexhill Environmental Group, for his assistance in achieving the weekly market which should start in mid-March and run every Friday until mid-December. Hillary Randall, chair of the Town Team, said “Farmers’ Markets stand for good quality local produce at reasonable prices.
