Upcoming ale and music festival seeks sponsors

BEXHILL Rotary Club is working closely with the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill to prepare for the Ale and Arty Real Ale and Music Festival in March.

The exact dates for the event, which takes place at the Pavilion, are the evening of Friday March 22 and lunchtime and evening on Saturday March 23.

Bexhill Rotary Club is appealing for sponsors and what a great opportunity to get your name in front of what is expected to be a very large crowd attending.

The Festival is a celebration of the art of brewing and features a host of real ales including Franklins (the main supporters of the event), Filo, Dark Star, Thornbridge, Pin Up, Brodies, Long Man, South Downs, Hastings, Kent, Bedlam, Old Dairy, Kemp Town, Bristol Beer Factory, Harvey’s, Hammerpot and Rother Valley.

Tickets can be booked on the De La Warr Pavilion website www.dlwp.com or you can call the booking line on 01424 229111.

A spokesman for Bexhill Rotary Club said: “On top of all this gorgeous nectar, there will be live music with ‘Howlin Blues’ being featured on the Friday evening, ‘The Exiles’ at Saturday lunchtime and ‘The Blue Monday Orchestra – Licensed to Swing’ to round things off in style on the Saturday evening, so it’s going to be a really big event!”

The Festival is being run by the Rotary Club of Bexhill Trust Fund, in conjunction with the De La Warr Pavilion, and all profits will go to benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, Demelza House Care for Children, Kids Out and other Rotary charities.

A sponsorship form is printed left with all the different ways you can sponsor or you can call Bexhill Rotarian Richard Harrison during business hours on 01424 720044 or email rharrison@menneershuttleworth.co.uk for more information.
