Ziggy's Nite Spot reunion planned
DO YOU remember going to the former Ziggy's Nite Spot in Eastbourne?
The club was above Diplocks in Pevensey Road, now the Duke of Devonshire, and a reunion is planned for later this year.
A group has been set up on the online social networking group Facebook and already has more than 300 members.
The reunion is being held on Saturday August 14 and will be held in an exclusive area from 8pm until midnight at Kings Nightclub in Langney Road, Eastbourne.
There will be a champagne reception and 70s or 80s dress is optional.
Ziggy's Nite Spot was known by many as just upstairs at Diplocks until it was officially named Ziggy's. It received a major facelift in 1983 when Diplocks was also refitted as a town centre disco pub.
It closed several years ago and is now the Duke of Devonshire.
The group is for anyone who attended or worked at Ziggy's over the years to swap stories, share photos, post their favourite tunes, just reminisce or even find long lost friends.
