A footballing charity is holding a string of half-term soccer schools throughout Sussex.

Albion in the Community (AITC) is the charitable arm of Brighton and Hove Albion FC and is running its award-winning holiday football courses at a host of sites, including Brighton, Worthing, Haywards Heath, Eastbourne, Hassocks, Battle and Uckfield.

The soccer schools are open to girls and boys aged between five and 14 and prices start at just £23 for a single day. A ten per cent sibling discount is also available. Tw-day courses are priced at £39.

All sessions are run by fully qualified AITC coaches with FA coaching badges and the emphasis is on learning new skills while having fun. There are also courses aimed specifically at goalkeepers.

A spokesman for AITC said: “We want everyone to have a great time, make friends and improve their football skills in a safe, structured and fun environment, whatever their ability.

“Children are also encouraged to appreciate the benefits of teamwork and to develop their self-confidence.”

AITC has been running holiday soccer schools since 1990 and the charity has helped thousands of local children enjoy their ootball during that time.
