A car crashed into the front of a house in Little Common this morning (Friday, July 29).

The emergency services were called to an address in Cooden Sea Road at around 10am.

A man and a woman travelling in the car, who are believed to be aged in their 70s, were said to have been left ‘very shaken’ by the incident.

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) checked the pair over at the scene.

They did not require hospital treatment.

Eyewitnesses have reported seeing the occupants of the house being led to safety by firefighters.

Emergency service crews were stood down at 11.45am.
